The newly released Check&Get 2.0 has
been almost totally re-written based on
user feedback and market research to produce
a ‘best of breed’ product
which delivers greater efficiency,
exciting new
features and usability.
Check&Get 2.0 is not a simple upgrade – it
is a powerful new program built on the
experiences and feedback gained from
thousands of satisfied users of the previous
version.
A beta version of the new product,
code named ‘Bookmark Explorer’ was
developed after listening to our customer’s
comments and has been beta tested for
nearly a year by new customers as well
as users of the earlier Check&Get
program. During this time we have refined
the program to its current format and
we are pleased to now announce the
formal release of Check&Get 2.0.
The user interface of the new program
is even more intuitive and easy to
use, offers greater efficiency and more
features
than it’s predecessor. Check&Get
2.0 retains the important and unique
features that made the previous version
so successful and delivers the following
important features:
- Hit highlighting of changed content
remains as an important feature allowing
changed content in web pages to be
easily identified – You can
see at a glance what new content has
changed or been added to a web page;
- Users have the convenience of choosing
multiple types of alert when content
changes; You can select to have an
email sent with a copy of the changed
web page including hit-highlighting,
select to have a ‘pop-up’ alert
display on your screen or play a sound
file – either choice will ensure
users are always aware of changes to
their favourite web pages;
- New customisable ‘skins’ feature
allows you to choose different schemes
for the user interface making Check&Get
2.0 fun to use;
- Check&Get 2.0 provides an internal
online / offline browser allowing
you to quick-view your favorite web-pages
even when you
are
not
connected to the Internet.
- An auto saving feature provides ‘Snapshots’ of
previous versions of web pages allowing
you to compare historical versions
of a web page – Not only can
you now see what has changed but your
can refer back to the original versions
of web-page;
- Extended bookmark and web-page searching
capabilities, allows you to search
your bookmarks by common fields (name,
description, keywords) and also make
full-text searches of web-page content;
- The new extended URL import capability
of Check&Get 2.0 allows you to
import links directly from a browser
window, HTML or text file or even from
office documents (in fact from any
file even if the file has the unknown
or binary format);
- Enhanced bookmark import / export
/ synchronization features. The most
popular browsers are supported: Internet
Explorer, Mozilla, Opera, Netscape;
- Powerful "Duplicate URL Cleaner" Wizard
means that you can ‘clean’ duplicate
URL’s instantly, keeping your
bookmark collection clean and efficient;
- Ability to maintain unlimited number
of different bookmark collections;
In addition, Check&Get 2.0 stores
all the bookmarks and web-content in
a single-file database, which makes back
up or data transfer to CD or another

2.0 by using and testing the software
called the "Bookmark
Explorer". The
working project known as ‘Bookmark
Explorer’ is now withdrawn
and replaced by Check&Get 2.0.
Many of our customers who used the
earlier
version of Check&Get upgraded
to the beta version of Bookmark Explorer
and assisted us to build and refine
the program.
All customers who registered Bookmark
Explorer during the beta-stage are
entitled to lifetime free update of
Check&Get 2.0 - Professional Edition.
We received a lot of valuable feedback
from our customers.
Their feedback and suggestions have
assisted
in us
being able to deliver a best of breed
product and we are very appreciative
of their input. Our view is that end
users are the best people to advise
on product development – we have
listened to their comments and Check&Get
2.0 is the result. Thanks a lot for

Following the launch of Check&Get
2.0, the Check&Get 1.xx product
line has been withdrawn. Limited
technical support for the current
Check&Get
1.xx customers will be provided,
but there will be no further enhancements
or upgrades. If you are registered
customer of
Check&Get v1.xx we are recommending
you to upgrade your software to the
more advanced and significantly improved
version 2.xx.
All the current customers of the Check&Get
v1.xx are entitled to have the 40%
discount registering/upgrading to the
Check&Get v2.xx.
The original version 1.xx of Check&Get
has been around for nearly five years,
in that time, registered users were
entitled to free upgrades for 6 months.
Despite the 6-month offer for upgrades
we provided free upgrades over the
entire life of this version of the
software. A significant amount of
time and expense has been made to
create the new Check&Get 2.0, it
has been almost totally re-written
and provides significant new features
and benefits, we feel this justifies
the small upgrade fee.

time savings and more enjoyment for
