Connection Settings
Permanent Connection to the Internet (LAN Workstation)
Specifies that Check&Get checks Bookmarks using a local area network (LAN) connection.
Dial-Up Connection to the Internet (single computer with modem)
Specifies that Check&Get checks Bookmarks through Dial-Up Networking connection to Internet, using modem.
Auto-Dial on demand using:
Specifies to automatically attempt to connect using selected Dial-Up Networking connection when Check&Get needs Internet connection to check bookmark.
The List Box on the right displays a list of the Dial-Up Networking connections set up on your computer, and allow you to choose connection which Check&Get uses for Auto-Dialing.
Show connection status window when dialing
Specifies whether or not connection status window appears when the Check&Get is establishing a Dial-Up Networking connection to the Internet.
Auto-Disconnect after Check&Get operation
Switch on this option to enable Check&Get disconnects automatically after checking bookmarks.
Check&Get disconnects automatically Dial-Up Networking connections established only by itself. If Dial-Up Networking connection was started manually by user it would not be disconnected.
Wait for Manual Connection to Internet (never dial on demand)
Specifies that Check&Get will not establish the Dial-Up connection when it needs to check the bookmarks. You must manually start your dial-up connection to allow Check&Get start checking bookmarks.
