Checking Bookmarks
The key feature of the Check&Get is an ability to check web-pages and ftp-sites and detect content changes.
You can start bookmark checking by selecting bookmarks and then pressing 
“Check” button or choosing “Bookmark /
Check” menu item.
In fact, checking of the web-pages is not so easy task as it seems. There are different kind of pages and internet-servers in the Internet. Some pages are framed, some pages are non-framed. Some servers put a content information in to the http header, some servers does not do it and some servers put incorrect information to the http header. And, moreover, many pages contain advertisement and other dynamic stuff that makes ineffective simple comparing web-page content to find the differences.
To avoid these problems, Check&Get supports several different “Check Methods” and provides an intellectual algorithm of auto-choosing the best suitable method of checking for specified web-page.
The “Check Method” for specified web-page is selected automatically when you “Explore” the web-page.
Exploring bookmarks
Each URL must be explored, before you can check it. If you are trying to check unexplored URL, Check&Get automatically starts “Explore” operation.
Exploring URL means that Check&Get downloads URL content and investigates it. Then, Check&Get makes decision which “Check Method” is the best for checking this page.
Also, if bookmark name is blank, Check&Get sets the title of the web-page as bookmark name. You can change bookmark name then at any time.
You can force “Explore” operation by selecting bookmarks and then pressing 
“Explore” button or choosing “Bookmark /
Explore” menu item.
